Overview of balustrades
This overview contains proposals of balustrade taken from our real life realizations and has been created to facilitate selection process as an addition to our offer presented in the galleries for balustrade, balconies and terraces.
The solutions presented are grouped depending on:
- material and technology used, steel of different types or glass balustrade,
- location in a building, internal or external,
- type of location in general, for example staircase or balcony or terrace.
Some of balustrade solutions presented here were used to define our products and are displayed on our product list.

Steel balustrade
Solutions presented are all-steel (from stainless or galvanized steel) or from steel combined with other materials, such as glass for filling.
Stainless steel internal staircase balustrade with stainless handrail and glass filling
Stainless steel glass balustrade with high polished, tubular handrail and posts and with safety glass infill
Stainless steel external staircase and balcony balustrade with stainless handrail and glass filling
High polished stainless steel glass balustrade with tubular posts and handrail. Laminated glass or HPL (High Pressure Laminate) infill panels
All stainless steel balustrade
- The following types can be distinguished:
- external solutions with stainless steel double or single balustrade supported by stainless tubular posts, possibly with filling from steel bars,
- external terrace balustrade with stainless tubular handrail and posts and with wire rope and/or steel bars for filling,
- internal staircase balustrade with stainless steel handrail and steel bars for infill
All galvanized steel balustrade
- The following types are shown:
- internal staircase balustrade from powder painted galvanized steel and with steel bars or wire rope for infill,
- external balcony and terrace balustrade from powder painted galvanized steel and with filling made from steel bars
Glass balustrade with satin and wood in handrail or infill
- The following types can be distinguished:
- staircase glass balustrade with satin finish stainless steel tubular handrail and with satinated and /or toughened glass infill,
- staircase frameless glass balustrade with self supporting, glass panels and wooden top handrail,
- staircase balustrade with stainless steel handrail with wooden top,
- staircase glass balustrade with stainless steel handrail with wooden top
Frameless glass balustrade
Solutions presented are all-glass (frameless glass) together with another material, such as steel, aluminum or wood, for handrail.
Frameless glass balustrade from self supporting glass panels
- The following types can be distinguished:
- topless frameless glass balustrade,
- frameless glass balustrade with stainless or aluminum top handrail,
- frameless glass balustrade with stainless high polished handrail mounted to glass using steel brackets
Staircase balustrade
Solutions presented are from stainless or galvanized steel and laminated, toughened, satin glass in infill or self supporting glass.
- The following types are shown:
- frameless glass staircase balustrade with stainless steel handrail or no handrail,
- stainless steel balustrade with various types of filling: laminated, toughened, satin glass or steel bars or wire rope,
- balustrade from powder painted galvanized steel and with filling made from steel bars
Balcony and terrace balustrade
Solutions showed are from stainless or galvanized steel and laminated, toughened, self supporting glass.
- The following types can be distinguished:
- frameless glass balustrade with stainless steel or aluminum top handrail,
- stainless steel balustrade with stainless handrail and posts, and various types of filling made from: toughened, laminated glass, from steel bars or wire rope,
- balustrade from powder painted galvanized steel and with filling made from glass or steel bars
